About UsThe Big Horn Foundation provides outdoor natural wildlife learning opportunities for area youth to participate in.
Youth are involved in conservation projects, natural resource management and wildlife education.
In conjunction with the West Valley School District, we have constructed the West Valley Outdoor
Learning Center to address the following issues:
• An educational curriculum for area teachers regarding the importance of teaching our youth about
their responsibility in caring for our natural wildlife and environmental resources.
• Educational materials are provided to area schools for classroom use.
• Continued interaction with community groups whose focus is single parent families and/or at risk youth.
• Maintain an active presence in the community, stressing the importance of teaching &
emphasizing volunteerism, wildlife conservation and responsible resource management. |
